For many young performers, turning 16 means ageing out of youth theatre.
At Ensemble North, it's where the most exciting work begins.
Created as the next step beyond The Scene, Ensemble North is a theatre company for young adults and adults who want to deepen their training, develop their creative voice and create ambitious original work for performance.
This is a space for performers and theatre makers who are ready to take ownership of the creative process and work as part of a dedicated ensemble.

Creating Work For Professional Stages
Our ambition is simple:
To create bold, original theatre that deserves to be seen.
Members will work collaboratively to develop productions, performances and creative projects inspired by the processes used by professional theatre companies.
Students are encouraged to take creative risks, contribute ideas and become theatre makers rather than simply performers.
