The Company is our flagship theatre-making pathway for young people who want to create original productions from scratch.
Working as a professional-style ensemble, members spend each term developing a brand-new production using our unique Devise & Conquer method. Every rehearsal builds towards a final performance, with everyone contributing ideas, characters and stories along the way.
No two productions are ever the same.
HOW IT WORKS
Each project begins with The Brief.
This could be a genre, a location, an object, a historical event or a single image.
From there, we'll:
Develop original characters
Build an exciting storyline
Explore improvisation and devising
Write scenes together
Rehearse as an ensemble
Perform an original production for an audience
Members experience the entire creative process, from the first idea to opening night.
